The Oude Schicht is Mr. Bumble's trusty car. Sometimes Mr. Bumble tinkers with the engine himself, or pours some cod liver oil into it. Still, the car usually runs fine. It can get a bit cold, though, sitting outside with only a roof over your head.

Background story

A strange metal plant appears in Mr. Bumble's garden. It turns out to be a machine on legs that copies everything it encounters. When it sees the Old Schicht, it immediately makes ten copies, which start driving around on their own.

Wammes Waggel loves it: he drives off with a whole procession of Schichten behind him. Then Professor Prlwytzkofski comes by; has anyone seen his copycat?
